ALL aboard: we’re in this together

From assessment to zhuzh, we’re here for it. Let’s get started!

Where do I begin?

California for All Animals is a program designed to meet you exactly where you are. All grants have been awarded, but we're still here to help in other ways. To join the community of shelters across the state working toward a shared goal of matching every animal in need with the right outcome through the right care, delivered in the right place and at the right time, check out the Capacity Score Chart and let us know how you're doing.

Learniverse

The Maddie’s® Million Pet Challenge Learniverse is an interactive online learning community found at the intersection of Knowing and Doing. Hosted by a team of animal welfare’s leading experts and featuring training modules of every shape and size, this is a space built for you to question, test and implement innovations in the pursuit of continuous discovery and improvement in animal sheltering.

Join the Multicultural Engagement Community of Practice

Now, more than ever, it’s crucial to engage all members of our communities. On February 18, 2025, Partnering for Pets: A Multicultural Community of Practice began on the All Call to strengthen our capacity to do just that. Are you passionate about increasing adoptions, foster, return to home, and keeping more pets and people together? Do you want to learn and share practical strategies for building relationships with diverse communities? This community is for you! Through June 3, the All Call will provide a space for learning, sharing, and networking with colleagues dedicated to building stronger connections with all segments of their communities. You'll hear how California shelters are advancing culturally-responsive programming and building bridges to decrease length of stay and increase positive outcomes for animals, as well as the shelter staff and community members who care for them.
